These are the fireworks at Pier 39 in San Francisco. I captured them from Treasure Island, the island that sits in the middle of the Bay Bridge. I wish we could see the fireworks with the San Francisco skyline in the backdrop. The fireworks were so far away from the island that they looked like teeny tiny insects when I shot them on a wide angle lens. I then switched to 70-300mm zoom.
Waiting on the Treasure Island shore for 3 hours with the cold wind blowing on the face, and getting stuck in the traffic jam after the fireworks weren't pleasant experiences. I forgot them all after looking at these pictures.
